 SALE OF THE WEST AFRICA FOOTBALL UNION (WAFU) PROPERTY AT BAKOTEH, IN THE KANIFING MUNICIPALITY

West Africa Football Union (WAFU) invites bidders for the sale of the its property Behind the Bakoteh Fish Market at Bakoteh, in the Kanifing Municipality.

TYPE OF PROPERTY: Mix Use-Residential & Office

LOCATION: Behind the Bakoteh Fish Market at Bakoteh, in the Kanifing Municipality

TENURE: The property is Leasehold

DESCRIPTION: The property, with an area of 671m2 (22m x 30m x 22m x 30m), is secured with cement/sand block wall fence on all the sides and it is developed with office building, a dwelling house and an outdoor store and toilet.

UTILITIES: The Property is connected to both the Nawec electricity grid and water supply system

BUILDINGS:

Office Building– The office building has a floor area of 199m2 and comprise of a front veranda, a reception/waiting area, three en-suite offices, a single office, a kitchen, a store room, a garage and a guest toilet. It is constructed with concrete frame, cement/sand block wall cladding, rendered and painted. The roof is made of corrugated iron roofing sheets on palm wood members with decorative hardboard ceiling. The door are a mix of glazed steel casement, pressed steel and timber flush; the windows are glazed aluminum sliding with burglar bar and the floor is concrete finished with ceramic floor tiles.

Dwelling House– the building has a floor area of 135m2 and comprises of a common veranda, a kitchen and a store room and three accommodation units consisting of: –

  • Accommodation Unit 2 – a front veranda, a living room with an en-suite bedroom
  • Accommodation Unit 3 – a front veranda a living room with two an en-suite bedroom

It is constructed with concrete frame, cement/sand block wall cladding, rendered and painted. The roof is made of corrugated iron roofing sheets on palm wood members with decorative hardboard ceiling. The doors are pressed steel; the window is steel louvers and the floor is concrete floor tiles.

Selection criteria:

Highest bid price: The amount offered by the highest is the primary criterion.
